The Digital Data Block is created so we

have a default PAD table which is

needed for the Voice Gateway Channels

(VGW) used to enable the IP to TDM

translation via the DSP & Media cards.

The Digital Data Black is also used

when we configure some trunk settings.

These default “Tables” within the

database have to be there as the enable

the system to link things together as well

as setting default values. The configured

values may not even be used in our

configuration but if the table cant be

referenced the system will report a

problem.
