If you are not using a DNS on the

network then you will need to add an

entry to the HOSTS file on the PC

managing the switch to enable the use

of the FQDN.

The file is located in the directory :-

C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc

To edit the file use Notepad. Be aware

that if you are running Windows 7 or

Vista you need to run Notepad as

Administrator as shown to enable saving

the file correctly
