There are three types of Steering Code

in the system, Local, Trunk and Distant,

but these days the Distant Steering

Code (DSC) is the one mainly used.

The DSC is used in CDP dialling to

direct a call to a route using an RLI.

The DSC here is 2, and therefore any

call dialled as a CDP number, starting

with a 2 will be matched. The FLEN set

is for so if someone dials 2000 on the

system this DSC will pickup the call and

forward it to RLI 10 for termination.

To add a Steering code in the overlays:-
